The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards THREATENS Trump With A KNIFE

Yes, in a stunning development, Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones is still alive and he’s talking trash about President Trump.

Years ago, as in the 1980s, the Stones couldn’t get a gig in Las Vegas so their concert promoter arranged for them to do a concert in Atlantic City instead. Trump, of course, agreed to be the presenting sponsor (this is a big deal), and when the Stones arrived, and Trump’s name was bigger than theirs on the signage, they had a problem. According to Richards, though, a confrontation over all of it involved a knife.

“I got out my trusty blade, stuck it in the table and said: ‘You have to get rid of this man!’”

Richards joked, “Now America has to get rid of him. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!”…

Yahoo News adds more to the “trusty blade story.” In 2015 concert promoter Michael Cohl told his own version of Richards’ story “saying Trump had agreed to host a pay-per-view event featuring the Stones in Atlantic City. But the band wanted nothing to do with him ― and when Trump turned up, Richards ordered Cohl to get rid of him.”

Oh, like that was going to work. Seriously, Trump is a New Yorker through and through. It was not that easy.

“I opened my big mouth in the meeting with the Rolling Stones where they go, ‘This is all great, but we’re not going to be affiliated with Donald Trump. At all. Screw you.’ And I go, ‘I will control Donald Trump! Don’t you worry!’” [according to Cohl]

What everyone agreed on was that Trump would not be present for the show. Trump being Trump, though, he still showed up that night and held a press conference.

And it sounds like Richards, at least, still doesn’t like Trump even if he cuts through the crap as Keith admits.

Well, all that means is that with the publication of this story, the Stones are about to lose a lot of fan base.
