Russia is being blamed for just about every loss the Democrats are taking these days. Donald Trump defies the odds and becomes president, it was the Russians. The special election in Ohio that Democrats spent a small fortune to win and didn’t, it was the Russians.
Green Party candidate Joe Manchik got 1,127 votes, and Milano thinks that’s very suspicious.
“You know what sucks? Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian meddling,” Milano wrote on Twitter. “Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake? #OH12.”
How’s the career going there Alyssa? Oh, wait, I wasn’t supposed to mention that was I.
It has been pointed out that even if all the Green Party votes went for the Democrat in Ohio-12, the Republican would have won. However, that does not stop the most vocal of the Hollywood resisters from calling Green Party votes some form of meddling or protest.
Luckily, skilled political pundit Kathy Griffin weighed in, but she blamed people who voted for their chosen candidate.
“Green Party voters..no one is saying you can’t vote for your candidates….but don’t tell me you care about the environment if you know your vote will make the difference between a Dem winning over a Rep and you still choose to vote for your candidate who has NO chance of winning,” she wrote on Twitter.
Never mind for both of the Hollywood females that there are 8,000 provisional ballots yet to be counted that have the potential to flip the vote total.
With 100% of the precincts in the state’s 12th congressional district reporting, Republican candidate Troy Balderson narrowly defeated Democratic challenger Danny O’Connor. The margin right now — out of 202,521 — is just 1,754 in favor of Balderson, but there are still as many as 8,000 absentee ballots and provisional votes to tabulate.
And neither of these political geniuses is calling for voter ID or voter registration rules or cleaning up the voter rolls.
