The swamp gases have gotten to DiFi.
Not even half a week has gone by since she outed a woman who sent her a letter claiming to have been groped or fondled or almost raped at a party no one but her remembers, the Democratic lawmaker she sent an anonymous account to – and who outed her as the “victim” in question – is now expressing doubt in her own witness’s truthfulness.
From colleague Connor Marley. Feinstein on Ford. Says Ford "is a woman that has been, I think, profoundly impacted, on this..I can't say that everything is truthful. I don't know."

Wanna come at that again DiFi? You’re not sure if the woman is telling the truth? (A lot of Catholic school girls who went to Catholic guys’ parties in high school have an idea that she’s not. Usually, the guys were all for seduction and mutual enjoyment, not assault. But, I digress.)
No sooner did DiFi admit this, and she tacked for another angle.
Feinstein just now clarifies: “Look I believe she is credible. What we have wanted is an investigation carried out to look at the facts before there was a hearing. The republican majority is apparently not going to do that. But based on what I know at this stage she is credible.” https://t.co/yDldaHTrDe

DiFi believes her witness is credible? Cute. Really cute. Too bad so many other Americans don’t give the circumstances. (Witness claims not to remember the year, exact location, much else other than Judge Brett Kavanaugh being there and one other witness who has signed a swan affidavit that he does not remember the party in question.)
Early Tuesday, her office told reporters that the GOP was wrong to limit public testimony to Kavanaugh and Ford, urging them to call other witnesses who can speak to the character of the parties or the events alleged. “Chairman Grassley today said there would be only two witnesses invited to testify at the Kavanaugh hearing next week on sexual assault allegations,” Feinstein said in a statement. “Compare that to the 22 witnesses at the 1991 Anita Hill hearing and it’s impossible to take this process seriously.”
Yeah, the supposed “victim,” one Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford, a psychologist has yet to RSVP for her appearance to explain herself.
And we’re supposed to take this seriously.
Get the popcorn and adult beverages. Can’t wait to see the accuser explain how she remembers something no one else does, including the judge.
