Not much can bring the United States to tears like veterans showing dignity and honor in old age. In the Capitol Rotunda Tuesday night, one old warrior saluted another and the tears began to flow. Former Senator and Presidential Candidate Bob Dole, 95, was helped out of his wheelchair to stand before the casket bearing the body of former President George H.W. Bush for a salute.
There truly is not much to add to that. Such men still exist. May the younger generations watch and learn from them.
