Children’s Ibuprofen Recalled, Please Check Your Supply For These Lot Numbers

Today’s public service announcement is all about children’s medication. The product is the fever reducer and anti-inflammatory infant’s ibuprofen suspension sold under the labels of Equate at Walmart, CVS Health at CVS, and Family Wellness at Family Dollar. The problem is that the dosage is too high in the affected lots.

The following lot numbers are under a voluntary recall:

00717009A – expires February

00717015A – expires April

00717024A – expires August.

The product is used a pain fever and/or fever reducer and was packaged in 0.5 ounce bottles….

Tri Pharma, Inc sold the affected lots to one customer, which distributed them into the US market.

Tris Pharma, Inc has notified its customer by urgent recall notice.

Consumers should contact their physician or healthcare provider if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking or using this drug product.
