For decades people have wondered how liberals would respond if they didn’t get their way… Na, just kidding! We all know exactly how they respond when they don’t get their way… By stomping their feet and crying like some infant in the grocery store aisle after mommy told them they couldn’t have something. LOL
When they grow up and have the money to afford lawyers, they file lawsuits and turn themselves into victims hoping that some judge will treat them better than their mommy did when they were crying on the floor of the grocery store some years earlier.
The lawsuit filed by the liberal media outlet desperate for attention (God and everyone else knows they have no viewers) accuses the White House of violating their 1st and 5th Amendments of the Constitution. The lawsuit names six defendants:
- President Trump
- John Kelly, Chief of Staff
- Sarah Sanders, Press Secretary
- Randolph Alles, Secret Service Director
- Bill Shine, Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications
- Secret Service Officer Who Took Jim Acosta’s Press pass
Apparently, the six people who are named in the suit all played a role in Jim Acosta losing his press pass.
The lawsuit is filled in the D.C. District Court and is demanding that the White House return Jim Acosta’s White House credentials. CNN argues that the wrongful revocation of his credentials violates CNN’s and Jim Acosta’s First Amendment rights of Freedom of the press and their Fifth Amendment rights to due process. CNN is asking for an immediate restraining order requiring the pass be returned to Jim Acosta.

CNN is asserting that the White House could target anyone in the future if they do not act to resolve this through the courts.
The White House Press Secretary Sara Sanders has released the following statement about the lawsuit CNN has filed:
“We have been advised that CNN has filed a complaint challenging the suspension of Jim Acosta’s hard pass. This is just more grandstanding from CNN, and we will vigorously defend against this lawsuit.
CNN, who has nearly 50 additional hard pass holders, and Mr. Acosta is no more or less special than any other media outlet or reporter with respect to the First Amendment. After Mr. Acosta asked the President two questions—each of which the President answered—he physically refused to surrender a White House microphone to an intern, so that other reporters might ask their questions. This was not the first time this reporter has inappropriately refused to yield to other reporters.
The White House cannot run an orderly and fair press conference when a reporter acts this way, which is neither appropriate nor professional. The First Amendment is not served when a single reporter, of more than 150 present, attempts to monopolize the floor. If there is no check on this type of behavior it impedes the ability of the President, the White House staff, and members of the media to conduct business.”
As someone who watches the White House Press Conferences on a regular basis, I am glad they took his permit… I have no problem with reporters asking difficult questions… In fact, I like when they ask the really difficult questions… The problem with some of the so-called journalist like Jim Acosta is that they do not ask the President or Sarah Sanders questions, they stand up and immediately begin with a statement of their opinion and they want to debate and argue their position rather than listen to the answer and report on what they are told.
President Trump answered the question asked by Jim Acosta during the incident that resulted in him losing his press pass and was even kind enough when Jim Acosta disagreed with him to point out that the two of them had a difference of opinion. That was no good enough for Jim Acosta though and as he has done on many other occasions he wanted to hold the floor and argue with the President as if he expected President Trump to finally just give in and say, “Gee, Ok Jim you’re right… I am wrong and should be ashamed of myself.” HA, not likely! LOL
I guess we just wait and see what happens in the courts now… I don’t expect to see the White House cave to this sort of action though and Jim Acosta may have just lost his White House pass for a long time to come.
