Earlier in the week, Rep. Doug Collins, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the transcripts of nine individuals’ testimony in one of the investigations into political activity by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice in the Obama era. One of those people was former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch. On Tuesday, headlines talked about her contradicting former FBI Director James Comey when he claims she instructed him to call the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email disaster a “matter.” She says it did not happen.
In digging through another Obama era FBI figure’s testimony, that of Comey’s Chief of Staff James Rybicki, however, it seems there were witnesses to Lynch’s directive.
Whoops Rybicki was in the room when Lynch told @Comey to call the Clinton email investigation “a matter” so she’s claiming both of them lied? There were a few people in meeting, should be pretty east to get the truth because someone should be charged with lying to Congress. pic.twitter.com/bp50R0Kzqz

More is liable to come out at the transcripts from all that testimony are scrutinized. In the meantime, the twists and turns are starting to come on a daily basis. Paying attention so as to not miss anything in the Foggy Bottom Food Fight Scandal will be critical.
