
There was an explosion at a UPS facility in Kentucky that has put two people in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The explosion does not appear to be terrorism-related but was the result of two welding tanks that exploded blowing a huge hole in the roof above. Fortunately, no one was in the path of the force that blew the hole in the roof.
The explosion is being investigated as a matter of routine, but there does not seem to be any sort of nefarious acts involved. Accidents happen.
This particular UPS facility is where maintenance is performed on their freighters, so that would explain the large welding tanks and essentially rules out that it could have been a packing being shipped.

There was a good deal of structural damage to the building that is located just off the Blue Sky Parkway in Kentucky.

According to reports, the two people injured were conscious and talking in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and there was a total of eight people treated for minor injuries
