Georgia Sheriff BURST Onto The National Stage With No Nonsense Message

When it comes to political correctness in society, those who push it on the rest of us count on one thing for its success in controlling language and thought: peer pressure. The more people talk a certain way, the more that way of expressing oneself becomes a way to include others in a circle.

Well, that’s for people who actually care what the group thinks. For the rest of us, especially Americans who live in places where political correctness defies centuries of tradition and wisdom, it’s political INCORRECTNESS that seems to elevate one to prom king.

That cultural quirk is playing out in Georgia where one sheriff has used his own money to tell visitors just what the deal is in his town. Sheriff Mike Jolley started his campaign in 2015 with this message:

At the time, the sheriff told the people at Fox News that the support he got from his own community, and all over the nation, really, was rather humbling. Now, the sheriff has a new message and it is aimed at the control crowd.

Well, alrighty then.

What motivates a man to put himself in the crosshairs of national debates that were actually settled long ago, but keep resurrecting as if one side can’t stand to lose?

“I spent 20 years in the army to give everyone the right to disagree with me or anyone else,” Jolley said. “Hopefully, if they disagree, they can voice that opinion. But if it offends them, truly offends them, maybe they’re in the wrong country.”

Amen to that.
