Mother Of Son Wants Him To Be A Girl Whether He Wants To Be Or Not

A very disturbing case coming out of Texas is the ultimate he said/she said. The tragedy about it all is that the subject of the argument is a six-year-old boy, and his parents are arguing over whether or not the kid is a girl in the wrong body.

According to the mother, the child identifies as a girl named Luna. According to the father, the boy wants nothing to do with being a girl.

Oh, and this all started after the child’s mother, a pediatrician took her son to a “therapist.”

The boy was diagnosed with gender dysphoria by a gender transition therapist the mother, a pediatrician, chose for her son to see. According to the therapist’s notes, the boy chose to identify as a girl when he was in sessions alone with his mother; alternatively, he chose to identify as a boy when he was in sessions alone with his father.

After reviewing the details, it looks like the kid simply wants to please the parent he is with at any one time.

As for the people around the child, they see no sign that the boy wants to be a girl:

The boy’s pastor Christ Church Carrollton Bill Lovell said, “Based on the three occasions I’ve spent time with him, I’d say he acts and looks unmistakably like a healthy six-year-old boy. … I am praying for [him], an average six-year-old boy, a sweet-natured, intelligent, lovable and at this point particularly vulnerable young man, caught up in a titanic clash of worldviews.”

“His mother came to pick up the boys to take them to [his brother’s] soccer game,” recalled Sarah Scott, a family friend and mother of three sons who are close with the boy. “[He] hugged his dad and said, ‘Love you.’ He refused to go to the soccer game as a girl with mom and stayed with dad. That evening they came to our house.”

Just from a cursory glance, it appears that mom wanted a girl, and is determined her son will be one. She is insisting on taking him to gender dysphoria people and wants to start the hormonal transition when this child is eight.

Maybe the mother should be the one seeing a therapist. Hopefully, the judge in Texas will do what is best for the child and talk to him about all of this without either parent or any of the therapists, present. No six year old knows what gender dysphoria is.
