Gonzalez made these comments following a vehement hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday regarding Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault accusations against Kavanaugh when there were high schoolers in the early 1980s.
Kavanaugh convincingly refuted her accusations, furthermore raising his voice and getting emotional over senators’ questions.
Gonzalez and some of her Parkland classmates have become outspoken in expressing their support of gun control in the wake of February’s mass shooting, organizing nationwide marches and censuring GOP politicians for taking donations from the National Rifle Association.
