President Trump Goes To Davos, LameStream Media Covers Impeachment Instead

The mainstream media obviously hasn’t gotten the message, yet.

The American people are following President Donald Trump’s lead. He’s not worried about impeachment, therefore, we the people out on the fruited plain aren’t either.

That didn’t stop all legacy media outlets from reporting on what the Senate is up to when it comes to trying the phony, trumped-up and not illegal charges levied by the House of Representatives.

From UPI:

The main stage of the Senate impeachment trial is set to begin Tuesday afternoon when lawmakers in the upper chamber will convene to sit in judgement on President Donald Trump, to decide whether he abused his power and interfered in the congressional investigation.

The process will begin with the House’s rebuttal to Trump’s trial brief before the Senate reconvenes. At 1 p.m., the Senate will sit for the impeachment proceedings, starting with a discussion of a resolution setting the rules for the trial before opening arguments.

Really? President Trump is in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum at Davos with the international movers and shakers and THIS is what the powers that be in the news industry think the American people need to know?

Over at NBC, after mentioning the impeachment sham and under a headline about the English royal melodrama playing out, the outlet did actually mention the trip overseas.

But that was it. It was just a mention. No transcript of the forty-minute speech he gave.

USA Today at least gave the speech some play:

“America is thriving, America is flourishing, and, yes, America is winning again like never before,” Trump said at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland….

Instead, Trump used his Davos speech to tout his presidency, proclaim that “the American Dream is back,” and play up statistics like the low unemployment rate, currently at 3.5 percent. The president sought to keep the focus on what he called an “economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen before.”

And they make the president’s words sound like a bad thing.

No matter how the enemies of Trump (and the nation) try, undoing the 2016 election is just not going to happen more than three years later.
