Project Veritas Strikes Again, Deep State Operative Exposed

In one way, to those in the hallowed halls of power, James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas crew are a pain in the backside. To all those who delight in the exposure of corruption and immorality that O’Keefe seeks to uncover, they are heroic in their efforts. This week, the Project Veritas gang’s latest gamble is paying off. The group decided to go after the deep state freeloaders who are undermining the republic on the taxpayer’s dime and have no shame in bragging about it.

Meet Stuart Karaffa, an employee at the Department of State, member of the Democratic Socialists and someone who has no problem working for the latter while employed by the former.

Stunning, huh. The guy’s program gets axed by the Trump Administration for whatever reason, this guy is not fired because, well, public employee union people just can’t be, and his supervisor rubber stamps what amounts to expense reports.

Yeah, just try to get away with this in the private sector.

But, seriously, Karaffa doesn’t particularly care about the survival of the republic as the people at Project Veritas point out:

Mr. Karaffa’s loyalties seem to be with DSA, not with his employer.

Karaffa told an undercover Project Veritas journalist that he performs DSA activism while at work for the State Department. He explained that he drafts DSA communications while on the job at State Department:

“… I’m careful about it. I don’t leave a paper trail, like I leave emails, and like any press s**t that comes up I leave that until after 5:30. But as soon as 5:31 hits, got my like draft messages ready to send out.”

Karaffa also admits that on behalf of DSA he monitors Virginia political news online while at work:

“You could put two and two together probably. With like web traffic…. So with web traffic, I mean I could make the case before a court of law that- I’m going to the Virginia sort of, campaign finance website- that I’m just interested in what people are doing politically. But if they also go and look at like DSA minutes and like Officer positions they’ll be like, ‘that’s weird, you were the co-chair of the electoral caucus, and you spent three hours on a Virginia campaign finance website.’”

And no one is calling him out on this?

What’s going on at the State Department that some employee whose program got cut can just do another organization’s business on the public dime?

This is a question We the People want to be answered.

  1. Ass holes like this are spread throughout the entire Federal workforce. Yet, the appointed Agency heads have not purged such employees from their staff. Make be question the efficiency of the Agency heads.
