Proof Migrants Soak Up Welfare At Twice The Rate Americans Do

There are a lot of arguments for sealing off the southern border, but there is one that is not discussed nearly as often as it should be. That is the sheer amount of welfare money taxpayers shell out to migrants once they reach the promised land. According to a new study reported by Breitbart, the newcomers soak America for free stuff at twice the rate our own people do.

In recently released research by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), analysts discovered that about 63 percent of noncitizen households, those who live legally and illegally in the U.S., use some form of public welfare while only about 35 percent of native-born American households are on welfare.

Likewise, roughly 50 percent of naturalized citizens — those who legally immigrated to the country and became citizens — use taxpayer-funded welfare, as well as about 55 percent of all households headed by legal immigrants, those who are naturalized citizens and those who are not yet citizens.

Noncitizen households are more than twice as likely to use food welfare programs and Medicaid when compared to native-born American households. Only about 21 percent of native-born American households use food welfare programs and 23 percent use Medicaid.

Meanwhile, 45 percent of noncitizen households use food welfare programs and 50 percent are on Medicaid.

Naturally, California and Texas have the most expensive – and expansive – welfare systems, and even there with double the number of non-citizen households on public assistance, a staggering number of native-born American households are as well.

For example, more than 7-in-10 noncitizen households in California use at least one form of welfare compared to just 35 percent of native-born American households that use welfare in the state.

In Texas, nearly 70 percent of noncitizen households use welfare. Similar to California, only 35 percent of native-born American households are on welfare.

A full third of households in those states are on welfare of some sort.

With the admission that there really are Americans who do need the help for various reasons, why are we subsidizing people who are not citizens, and who may be part of an invasion force?

This is definitely a problem.

  1. This is so wrong that illegals are supported more then our native Americans. This illegals need to get alot less, then what they are getting. This needs to be corrected now not later. That will make the illegals stay away more.
