The mainstream media, aka Fake News all day and night, has a new slight to squawk about. President Donald J. Trump, Big Daddy of the White House, has canceled the annual Holiday Party thrown at the Executive Mansion for members of the press.
President Donald Trump’s White House reportedly will not host a holiday party for members of the press this month.
Trump himself canceled the annual shindig, making “the decades-old tradition a victim of his increasingly contentious relationship with major news organizations,” Fox News reported Thursday morning.

There was quite a bit of controversy in 2017 when CNN boycotted the annual event based on not being treated well by the president when he called the organization as a whole “fake news“. Since then, the president’s relationship with various news outlets has just gone downhill as they have been less than honest in their portrayal of his administration and efforts. Stories that are exaggerated are repeated ad nauseam and actual news is ignored.

With this cancellation and the White House of the annual correspondents’ dinner earlier in the year, it is safe to say that the nation’s pundits will probably be atwitter with the concept of being shut out of what were clearly the perks of the job.
Oh, well. It might behoove the group to actually try to do some real reporting for a change.
